Phenol Resorcinol Adhesives

TS Resins supplies phenol resorcinol (PRF) adhesives manufactured by Dynea, a global leader in wood adhesive technology for customers across the UK and Ireland. Examples of these products are Aerodux 185 & Prefere 4040.

PRF adhesives are thermosetting resins widely used in wood structure applications where long-term performance is critical. Known for their outstanding bond strength and resistance to moisture, heat, and chemical exposure, PRF adhesives are ideally suited for load-bearing uses such as structural beams and laminated veneer lumber (LVL).

These adhesives cure to form a durable bond line, making them well suited to demanding environments including outdoor, industrial, and structural construction.

PRF Adhesives are two part adhesives consisting of a resin and a hardener, when they are mixed together they form the adhesive. The properties of the adhesive can be changed depending on the hardener used.
