Slow Release
Why is Methylene Urea Slow Release
NUE28 is formulated using methylene urea, a chemistry that naturally delivers nitrogen to crops over an extended period. Unlike conventional liquid fertilisers that release their full nitrogen content over a short space of time, NUE28 contains a mix of short, medium, and longer-chain nitrogen compounds.
Immediate availability
Around one-third of the nitrogen in NUE28 is present as urea, giving the crop a rapid boost when applied.
Controlled Release
The remaining nitrogen is bound in methylene urea polymers of varying chain lengths. Leaf surface and soil microbes gradually break these down, releasing nitrogen steadily over six to eight weeks.
